Full Day Leave

Full Day Leave refers to an approved leave taken by an employee for an entire working day according to the organization's leave policy. It is typically recorded as a complete day of absence rather than a partial-day or half-day leave.

In an HRMS, Full Day Leave is used to manage employee leave applications, approvals, leave balances, attendance records, and absence information. Employees can request a full day of leave for a selected date, while managers or HR teams can review and approve the request according to configured leave rules.

Full Day Leave can be associated with different leave types, such as annual leave, casual leave, sick leave, earned leave, or other organization-defined leave categories. The HRMS can update the employee's leave balance and attendance status based on the applicable leave policy and approval workflow.

For payroll and attendance management, approved full-day leave can be considered when calculating payable days, attendance status, salary-related inputs, and leave balances according to configured organizational rules. In CLMS, similar absence or leave records can help organizations track contract workforce availability and working-day information.
