Form 10D

Form 10D is an EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) claim form used by eligible members or beneficiaries to apply for pension benefits under the Employees' Pension Scheme (EPS), 1995. It is primarily associated with claiming pension benefits when the member meets the applicable conditions for monthly pension or other eligible EPS benefits.

In an HRMS, Form 10D-related information can be supported through accurate employee and statutory records. HR teams can maintain employment history, date of joining, date of exit, pension-related information, UAN details, nominee or family information where applicable, and other records needed for employee separation and statutory processes.

Form 10D is particularly relevant to retirement and pension administration. Maintaining accurate employment and service information in an HRMS can help HR teams support employees with the information required for EPFO-related processes. However, pension eligibility, claim submission, processing, and approval are governed by the applicable EPFO rules and procedures.

For CLMS (Contract Labour Management System), statutory and workforce records can be maintained for eligible contract workers where applicable. Accurate worker employment, service, and separation information can support statutory administration and documentation requirements based on the applicable employment arrangement.
