Fingerprint Attendance

Fingerprint Attendance is a biometric attendance system that uses an employee’s unique fingerprint to record attendance, such as check-in and check-out times. It provides a secure and automated way to capture employee attendance while reducing manual attendance entries, proxy attendance, and time-recording errors.

In an HRMS, fingerprint attendance devices can be used to capture employee attendance data and connect it with Time Office, shift management, leave management, overtime, payroll, and attendance reports. Employee fingerprint records are generally mapped with an employee ID so that attendance transactions can be associated with the correct employee according to organizational policies and configured system rules.

Fingerprint attendance helps organizations maintain accurate attendance records, monitor working hours, identify late arrivals and early departures, and calculate attendance-related payroll inputs. It can also support attendance regularization, shift-wise reporting, overtime tracking, and centralized workforce monitoring.

For CLMS (Contract Labour Management System), fingerprint attendance can help record attendance of contract workers deployed across factories, plants, warehouses, construction sites, and other operational locations. Attendance data can support contractor workforce monitoring, muster-related records, wage inputs, deployment tracking, and workforce compliance processes.
