Final Approval refers to the last authorization or confirmation required to complete an HR, payroll, attendance, leave, recruitment, expense, or other organizational process. It indicates that the relevant information has been reviewed and accepted by the designated authority according to the organization's configured approval workflow.
In an HRMS, Final Approval is commonly used at the end of multi-level workflows. For example, an employee's leave request, expense claim, attendance correction, recruitment request, salary change, or payroll process may pass through one or more reviewers before reaching the authorized person for final approval.
Final Approval helps organizations establish process control, accountability, data accuracy, and authorization. Once approved, the transaction or record may move to the next stage, such as payroll processing, payment, employee record update, recruitment action, or reporting, depending on the configured workflow.
For CLMS and contract workforce management, Final Approval can be used for contractor onboarding, workforce deployment, attendance or muster records, payable hours, billing information, compliance records, and other operational processes. This provides a controlled authorization point before records are finalized or submitted for subsequent processing.
