Comp Off (Compensatory Off)

Compensatory Off, commonly called Comp Off, is a type of leave granted to employees in exchange for working on a scheduled weekly rest day, public holiday, or other approved non-working day, subject to organizational policies and applicable employment regulations. Instead of receiving only additional wages for the extra work, an eligible employee may receive a day of leave that can be used later. Compensatory Off policies generally define eligibility, qualifying work hours, approval requirements, validity periods, usage rules, and expiry conditions.
